Chuck has been a performer since he was 4 years old. He performed in his first professional musical when he was 19 and has been hooked on Musical Theatre ever since. He studied vocal performance at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, and did graduate studies in voice at the University of Idaho. He has worked extensively as a performer, music director, conductor, and as a private voice teacher.
In North Idaho he has worked with nearly every performing arts organization in the region, including: Aspire Community Theatre (Music Director, Performer, Orchestra Manager, and Board Member), The Lake City Playhouse (Music Director, Performer), Chorale Coeur d'Alene (Performer, soloist, Board Member), Inland Northwest Opera (Performer), Christian Youth Theatre/Christian Community Theatre (Performer, Director, Music Director), Spokane Valley Summer Theatre (guest performer), as well as serving in past positions at the Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre (Performer, Music Director, Orchestra Manager, Associate Artistic Director). Chuck has also been a paid vocal soloist and collaborator with many additional organizations, as well as producing his own performances.
Outside of the performing arts, he has worked as a Realtor, office manager, and a business owner among other things. Chuck has lived in Coeur d'Alene since 1994, and loves the community of artists and the culture that North Idaho has to offer. The Coeur d'Alene Summer theatre is central to this community, and he is so proud to be part of it.
