Signups and virtual submissions for our 2025 season are now open.
We will be announcing all casts by March 1st, 2025.

Please review the preliminary rehearsal & performance schedules before submitting your audition.
Schedules are subject to change.

IN-PERSON
AUDITIONS

Auditions and callbacks are on Saturday January 25th and Sunday January 26th in Coeur d'Alene. Appointments required for all audition sessions.
A special audition session on December 27th is available for college students home on winter break.

 Please read the information below and carefully follow directions when submitting for an audition - all in-person auditions must have an appointment set up in advance.

CDA Summer Theatre is a professional musical theatre that hires local, regional, and national talent. All roles and positions are paid.

Special Notes for the 2025 Season:
- No AEA contracts are available at this time. 
- The role of Dolly Levi has been precast. All other roles are available to auditioners.
- We are currently auditioning actors 16+. If you are interested in auditioning for Young Anastasia (ages 8-15), please email info@cdasummertheatre.com

- You may submit up to (4) four videos - Please upload your videos online prior to submitting, then share the links with us: YouTube, Google Drive, Vimeo, or privately hosted videos with open links are the most common platforms

- In your video submissions, please include from the following as applicable to your skillset:
- One song or two contrasting songs (within the styles of the season) One-minute clips preferred
- One or two short monologues (we produce musicals so choosing something that helps us to see you in that light is helpful)
- Dance footage (As is best applied to this season's selection of shows, which will primarily use musical theatre and jazz styles of dance).
- Availability & conflicts from June 7th 2025 through August 20th 2025

RETURNING CAST AUDITIONS

Callbacks are scheduled for January 26th. We will reach out to schedule in-person callbacks, or request virtual callbacks for those not available.

 
This option is for those who played a leadprincipal or supporting role on our main stage in 2022, 2023, or 2024.

As a recent performer on our stage, you do not need to go through our regular audition process to be considered for a role for our 2025 season. Please follow the steps below to submit your interest for this season. We'll move you right into the callback process.

If you prefer to go through our regular audition process you are welcome to do so. Please go here and choose either "in-person" or "virtual".
