Embark on a transformative journey into the world of professional musical theatre with our 10-week Intro to Professional Musical Theatre session. This is where you'll learn how to become a Broadway performer.
This session is your gateway to mastering the art of performance, where you'll dive deep into the process of auditioning, rehearsing, preparing, and ultimately, performing in a Musical Theatre Revue for an invited audience.
Each session's revue is uniquely tailored, featuring songs and scenes from a celebrated Broadway composer, cast specifically to highlight your individual talents.
You'll sharpen your skills through practical experience in audition techniques, memorization, blocking, diction, and projection. Additionally, you'll gain insights into rehearsal and performance etiquette, stage makeup application, commanding stage presence, and choreography, alongside the foundational elements of stagecraft including sound, lighting, set design, and more.
This is your chance to not only learn but to shine under the mentorship of industry professionals from a theatre often deemed "Better than Broadway."
Whether you're aiming to break into the industry or refine your craft, this session is designed to propel you forward.
Don't miss this opportunity to elevate your career with training from one of the nation's top-ranked, award-winning professional regional theatres.
This session is for younger performers, ages 8-13, and is a pre-requisite for Intermediate Professional Musical Theatre sessions.
Classes begin February 1st, registration required. More details can be found here.
